The year 2028 was once the stuff of sci-fi films, with flying cars, and futuristic technology. Here we are, a mere fifty-odd months away from the start of the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics, where longboard surfing will take center stage at the world Olympic level.

As the longboarding community contemplates potential representatives, Italy may already have a gold medal winner in its midst. Meet Ginger Caimi, born in Milan and now residing in Fuerteventura. Ginger, standing at 155cm tall, weighing 35kg, and only 11 years old, has been dominating multiple longboard titles against opponents twice her age, size, and weight.
